Ocean Beer IPA is easy to drink and known for its powerful citrus and tropical fruits aroma. With a pleasant and refreshing bitterness and an aftertaste of evergreen wildflowers, this is beer is the ideal introduction to the world of IPAs.

Developed with a Pilsner malt base with a touch of Munich malt, our beer is macerated to bring out balanced sugars and proteins that create a low alcohol IPA with white and stable foam. Ocean Beer IPA is superbly well-balanced and less bitter than many traditional IPAs.

Tasting Notes

Tropical fruits, citric, pine resin, white flowers, and a touch of fresh bread. Medium-high intensity and very refreshing. Hopped and well balanced.

“The nose proffers salted limes and dried papaya slices, verbena, lemongrass, chamomile, manuka honey, green almonds, hint of kelp, and cereal crops, merest touch of malt loaf and weed on the breeze. After a saline, zesty attack, the mid-palate fans out with sweeter, creamier flavours including cornmeal, melon, and ginger biscuits, then pulls back to a refreshing, briny, limey finish. An IPA for the thirsty, the active, for those who don”t want a morass of treacly hops clogging up their epiglottis but want to quench and ride.”
